To The Power Against
Two Issues, July 2007–current
Onging book about a probability expert who, by means of a tragic microwave burrito accident, finds she has the ability to make strange things happen. Self-published by myself and writer Carrie Smith under Conjoined Comics.
While on a hiatus from my other comic book duties, I took on this project with Carrie after she had a sudden stroke of genius. The story came together very quickly and we had a grand time collaborating. The preview we brought to the 2007 Alternative Press Expo intrigued people with the concept even if it did involve complex maths. The seed we planted at APE bore fruit at Comic Con and reaction has been very positive.
Manchu Park
Coming soon (eventually)
Illustrated screenplay which combines Jane Austen's Regency-era England with hard-hitting kung fu action, written by Carrie Smith.
A side project more for fun than anything else, I used it as an excuse to exercise my Photoshop pen skills as well as a fun opportunity to do some unique character designs.
Emogician
One Issue, February 2008
A one-note-joke mini-comic, written by Carrie Smith.
It's really self-explanatory. He's a magician. An emotional magician.

Dropkick Detectives
One issue, June 2006
Book about a trio of female Mexican wrestlers who have a detective agency and solve paranormal crimes, published under Moxie Comics!
An attempt at setting up and telling a continuing story Dropkick Detectives was Josh Cottingham's stroke of genius during our drive up to Wonder Con in 2006. It combines his love of wrestling and my love of drawing foxy ladies and adds monsters for good measure. Fun for all!
For the art on this book I took inspiration from the old Warner Brothers animation shorts from the 40's and 50's as well as Tex Avery's series of 'Wolf and Red' cartoons.
Journey Into Misery!
Three issues, February 2005–February 2006
Anthology book created by myself and writer Josh Cottingham, published under Moxie Comics!
This was our first attempt at publishing a book and it was successful enough for us to want to try it again. Journey Into Misery! contains several different shorts including the sci-fi serial 'Travelers', which is the only story that is featured in each of the three issues.
Usually an anthology is a group of stories by different people, but we're too anti-social for that. All of the art is done by me, though I did use different styles throughout.
